Total time:
Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes boiling and 10 minutes frying What you’ll need:
250ml vegetable oil
100g - 150g potato per person
How to cook it:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into roughly 2cm pieces.
2. Boil the potato pieces in water for 10 minutes until they are soft around the edges.
3. Drain the water and let them steam for about 1 minute. Place the lid on the pan and holding the lid securely, shake the potatoes until they are all roughed up around the edges.
4. In a frying pan add the oil and heat it over a medium heat. Carefully place the potatoes into the hot oil and fry potatoes for about 10 minutes, turning the potato pieces every now and then.
5. When they are crisp and golden brown, remove them from the pan and place them onto kitchen paper to drain off the excess oil. Then season them with salt and serve immediately.
